$200 Caregiver Court Fee Stipends

MKCA* is offering $200 Cargiver Court Fee Stipends to qualified applicants. To qualify:

1. Applicant must be residing in Minnesota.
2. The parent of the child being cared for does not live in the home of the Caregiver.
3. Caregiver must have been denied a waiver of court fees, and must show that their In Forma Pauperis application was denied.
4. The stipend will only apply toward court expenses related to a child placement proceeding in which the Caregiver is a party, such as custody or adoption.
5. The Caregiver (or a Caregiver in the home) must be 55 years or older.
6. The Caregiver must apply for the Stipend through one of the Relatives as Parents (RAP) Programs throughout the state.
