Regional Service Agencies
Reaching out to people throughout Minnesota, six Regional Service
Agencies (RSAs) have been established across the state. In addition, two other agencies serving kinship families dealing with disabilities or seeking counseling are a part of the support network.
Regional Service Agencies are regional contact points for inquiries
from, and for, relative caregivers. With the assistance of local
collaborative partners, Regional Service Agencies reach out to
relative caregivers, including Minnesota's communities of color,
within their designated areas.
They accept program inquiries and provide information, referral,
advocacy, and education throughout their regions. In addition,
culturally specific support groups and volunteer mentors for one-to-one
support are provided to kinship caregivers.

1 - Mahube Community Council: Kittson, Roseau,
Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Beltrami, Pennington, Red Lake,
Polk, Norman, Mahnomen, Clearwater, Hubbard, Cass, Clay, Becker,
Wilkin, Otter Tail, Wadena, and Todd.
Region
2 - AEOA ROCK Program: Koochiching, Itasca,
Aitkin, Crow Wing, Morrison, Mille Lacs, Kanabec, St. Louis,
Carlton, Pine, Lake, and Cook.

3 - Western Community Action: Traverse,
Grant, Douglas, Stevens, Pope, Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Wright,
Big Stone, Swift, Lac Qui Parle, Chippewa, Yellow Medicine,
Kandiyohi, Meeker, Renville, McLeod, Lincoln, Lyon, Redwood,
Pipestone, Murray, Cottonwood, Rock, Nobles, and Jackson.

4 - Child Care R & R Rochester: Sibley,
Nicollet, Brown, Watonwan, Martin, Faribault, Blue Earth, Le
Sueur, Waseca, Rice, Goodhue, Wabasha, Steele, Dodge, Olmsted,
Winona, Freeborn, Mower, Fillmore and Houston.
Region
5 - Lutheran Social Service: Isanti, Chisago,
Anoka, Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, Carver, Scott and Dakota.

6 - Minnesota
Chippewa AAA: White Earth, Leech Lake, Bois Forte, Grand Portage,
Fond du Lac, and Mille Lacs reservations.
